We had a wonderful stay at Villa Bambu!
Communication and booking was easy and stress free! Julio was super helpful with questions and had great suggestions for reserving wildlife adventures.
The drive to the house, once past the gates, was a bit bumpy however so pretty with it's lots of nature and animals to see.
The house is perfect, so clean, looks just like the photos & stocked with everything you need plus some added welcoming treats!
Though there is no air conditioning there are fans in every room and a pleasant cross breeze when the patio doors/front door are open in the evening. (we booked end of March)
The pool is so nice and you get a real wildlife experience every morning with monkeys, iguanas, bats & every type of bird right there in the trees and greenery outside on the back patio!
We were a family of four and there was plenty of room for us all!

This was an absolutely incredible place to stay! It's very secluded, the nature surrounding the home and pool are beautiful, and the home itself is amazing. We loved the open space of the home, the glass doors looking out to the pool, the huge island and kitchen area, beautful bathrooms - all of it. The pool is huge (60 feet long) and temperature is perfect, probably 90 degrees. I would recommend an SUV or larger vehicle for the rough road getting to the home. We really hope we can return to visit again one day as my wife and I fell in love with this place.

Villa Bambu was great. We especially loved watching the monkeys, hummingbirds and nesting birds by the pool each day. It’s to be noted that the property is exceptionally hot although the management did provide fans for us to use. The pool is amazing and very private - such a lovely place.

This home is WELL worth the money! It’s in a small quiet community in a wildlife park, and has lots of things to do just on the grounds themselves. The house is perfect for two couples. Fully stocked kitchen, I cooked like crazy while we were there since the MaxiPali was only about a 10 minute drive away. Joe was an incredible host, so helpful and supportive. I highly recommend hiring Vicki for at least one private meal, she is so kind and a talented chef! She helped our friends become engaged with her unique dessert, and she will be a great part of that memory forever. She was even gracious enough to chat with me while she cooked so I could practice my Spanish (it was so rusty!) I was worried that no A/C would mean uncomfortable nights but the fan was more than enough. It gets nice and cool at night and the house is well ventilated. We saw tons of wildlife: monkeys, macaws, toucans, iguanas, lizards, all from the swimming pool! There will be bugs, you are in the rainforest-be aware!

The Villa Bambú in Quepos is a beautiful place! The house is very spacious and has a nice pool. It‘s surrounded by beautiful nature. You need to take a dirt road to get there but the instructions were clear and we enjoyed our stay very much. The staff was always available and provided a great service! One needs to be aware that there can be some bugs in the house since it‘s close to nature, but that also means you get to see animals at the pool e.g. monkeys, coati or birds. We would definitely recommend a stay there!

The owner was super accommodating, great at communication. There was amazing nature all around the house including squirrel monkeys and all kinds of birds. The pool was really fantastic. Highly recommend

Very comfortable, beautiful home. We enjoyed the views out the windows along with the pool. It was fun watching the monkeys come out and play. This was probably my favorite Airbnb of our trip to Costa Rica.

Wir haben uns super wohl in der Unterkunft gefühlt. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt und wir konnten richtig gut entspannen! Leider ist die Unterkunft etwas außerhalb, weshalb ein Auto unbedingt notwendig ist. Aber im Großen und Ganzen waren wir wirklich sehr zufrieden und würden immer wieder kommen!

Nuestra estadía fue simplemente maravillosa. La casa está rodeada de naturaleza, con una vista preciosa y un ambiente muy tranquilo. En las mañanas se escuchan los pájaros y hasta pudimos ver monos tití, ¡una experiencia única! El lugar es súper seguro y la ubicación excelente. Además, el anfitrión siempre respondía rápido y fue muy amable. Sin duda, el lugar es aún más lindo de lo que se ve en las fotos. ¡Totalmente recomendado!

El alojamiento está rodeado de naturaleza, es fácil ver monos titi y coaíes alreadedor de la piscina a primera hora de la mañana. Los espacios de la casa son amplios y la piscina es estupenda. La cocina está completamente equipada. A pesar de no tener A/C, la temperatura era muy agradable gracias a los ventiladores. Sin duda volveríamos a este alojamiento, a nuestros hijos les encantó.

I loved my stay here! The villa is clean, cozy, and surrounded by gorgeous nature. Super peaceful but still close to, restaurants, and shops. The hosts were friendly and quick to respond, which made everything easy. Waking up to the sounds of nature and enjoying seeing the animals was amazing. Highly recommend! When in Costa Rica I will definitely book this place again!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Wonderful retreat 10 mins drive from Quepos. Pool was amazing. Saw toucans, squirrel monkeys and capuchins from the deck. Loved the outdoor living feel of the whole place.

Eine großzügiges und modernes Haus geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der 20m Pool war großartig! Aus dem Schlafzimmer/Wohnzimmer/Pool hat man einen Blick auf den Wald mit den Vögeln und Äffchen! Die nächtliche Geräuschkulisse der Insekten/Frösche im Wald waren beeindruckend. Mit den Ventilatoren hatten wir nachts auch genügend Abkühlung, um gut schlafen zu können. Wir haben den Aufenthalt zu viert sehr genossen. Auch die Küche ist mit z B Mixer für Smoothies und großem Kühlschrank mit Eiswürfeln gut für einen tropischen Urlaub ausgestattet. Julio/Sebastian haben sich proaktiv digital gemeldet, auch mit hilfreichen Tipps für die Umgebung. Pura Vida!

Right in the forest, an amazing experience being able to hear the forest and all the wide life. The moneys came to visit and hang out in the bushes in front of the pool. A great place and a quick trip in the car to loads of great restaurants.

Julio and Sebastian were incredibly generous and kind hosts! The house is perfect in every way. We enjoyed seeing monkeys with our coffee each morning, swimming in the afternoons after long hikes and activities in the morning. We were very happy here. You will be, too!

Julio's home was exactly as described in the listing. We had a peaceful stay at the home which is secluded and private. The pool was fantastic and daily we were visited by monkey's climbing through the trees in the backyard. We saw more monkey's here than the Manuel Antonio National Park. Only a short drive to the towns of Quepos or Manuel Antonio. We would definitely stay at Julio's home again.

Gorgeous villa surrounded by jungle. Very peaceful location that is about 1.5km from the main road. The villa itself was very clean and the host was very responsive to any questions.

This place was absolutely stunning, the jungle atmosphere, the pool, the kitchen and dining area. We had monkeys come to the poolside one morning. I loved it and wish I could have stayed for a month or more !! 10/10

The property in Costa Rica was absolutely beautiful! The surroundings were stunning, and the house was well-maintained and clean. It was a perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. One thing we wish we had paid closer attention to was that the house does not have air conditioning. Since we stayed over Christmas, the temperatures were manageable, but we’re not sure if our experience would have been the same during the hotter summer months. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we would recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of Costa Rica!

We had such a great stay! The place was super clean, cozy, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. The host was really friendly and easy to communicate with, which made the whole experience even better. The location was perfect—close to everything but still nice and quiet. Honestly, we didn’t want to leave and would 100% stay here again!

The views were beautiful and the property was just as described. The host was AMAZING and referred us to a ton of local restaurants, entertainment, and even the best car rental spots. It was really fun to see monkeys playing around the pool every morning too. We were concerned about it not having air conditioning but with the fans going and the curtains closed in the bedrooms you can’t tell that it doesn’t have ac. We brought bug spray and didn’t need it a single time. This truly is an amazing place to check out!

We loved Villa Bambu.
The place is even more beautiful than the photos show. The intimacy with Nature is exactly what we were looking for. each morning, we woke up to birds singing and filled our eyes with greenery after drawing the curtains back.

unfortunately it rained both days so we could not spend a lot of time enjoying the outdoor settings. Bugs were not an issue for us. The space was comfortable, warm and inviting. We looked up the place as a last minute panic search because our hotel experience was suboptimal - I wish we had spent our entire time in Quepas/Manuel Antonio at Villa Bambu.

if you have access to a car to get around, I'd highly recommend Villa Bambu

Villa Bambu has been the best property we stayed at during our vacation. The design is stunning and the attention for details is impressive. The space is large and the villa blends amazingly well with the surroundings because of the view over the pool and vegetation and the fact that the top of the back wall is open with just a screen as separation and you can hear all the sounds of the nature outside. Swimming in the pool both in the morning and at the end of the day was another highlight of our stay. If we were to travel again to this part of Costa Rica we would definitely try staying here again.

Totally incredible stay in the middle of the jungle, the villa is gorgeous and well equipped, 5mins from Quepos / 15 from Manuel Antonio.

You are really in the jungle here - there’s a group of spider monkeys that will chill by the banana trees in front of the pool. Only caution with this place is that - sliding doors let bugs in, and there’s no sound proofing so you really feel in the middle of the jungle while here. Hopefully that’s your thing. It definitely was ours!

Julio was a great guest and their place was beautiful. It's a great place to rent with a group of friends and perfect to hang out during the rainy days of Costo Rica. It's also not too far from Quepos.

Super WiFi pour les appels vidéo, de beaux espaces pour les séances de brainstorming, et la piscine a fourni la relaxation idéale entre les séances de travail. Le personnel était discret et professionnel, traitant nos besoins de restauration de manière transparente. Environnement productif et inspirant.

Les premières vacances des années sans enfants et c'était exactement ce dont nous avions besoin. La villa était paisible et luxueuse, parfaite pour se reconnecter en couple. Nous avons passé le matin à observer les oiseaux depuis notre balcon - nous avons vu plus de 50 espèces! Les services de spa étaient incroyables. Prépare déjà notre voyage de retour.

First of all the organization and handling by "Manuel Antonio Estates" was very professional, communication easy and very quick. Can fully be recommended.

The location of the Villa Bambú is just a few minutes outside town in a very quite area for "nature lovers". The garden attracts different kind of animals, which makes e.g. the watching of parrots, monkeys or toucans with a morning coffee or glass of wine in the evening possible. Moreover a short hiking trail through parts of the rain forest is just nearby. For a night walk I recommend a guide as otherwise many of the available animals might be missed.

The house is large, well equipped, comfortable and another highlight for us was the 18 m long pool which is great for sporty swimmer.

This Place was right in the Jungle . Bugs were not a problem inside the villa. There is nature trails about 2 min walk from the villa. Very fun stay will be back for sure

Villa Bamboo is everything you can expect from the pictures and the description, and so much more. We are a family of four (2 parents and 2 kids) and we had the best time. The house is spacious - there is plenty of room to be together but there is also lots of space for parents to have some peace and quiet. The outdoor pool is a lot of fun. We played in there a lot while we were not exploring the surroundings. The house is close to everything, for example beaches, tours, restaurants, sodas and bakeries. The kitchen is fully equipped, clean and with lots of room to move around. The host Julio is very professional and friendly. He sent us lots of information beforehand and while we were there. Although the villa is in the jungle, it was easy to find thanks to the instructions Julio sent to us. As I said, we had a wonderful time and it was hard to live. I recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice, clean, safe, fun place where to stay in Manuel Antonio area. Pura Vida!

I do recommend Julio’s place. We really enjoyed our stay. The house is more beautiful in person! We enjoyed the scenery around the pool. The only suggestion I would have is to make sure that you spray your raid as needed, there are ants and bugs that do come into the airbnb due to the location and it being surrounded by the jungle. Overall an incredible stay!

Villa Bamboo is brand new construction surrounded by “jungle” and nature with great views of birds, monkeys, hummingbirds etc. while it is not exactly at the at the coast, it is just 10-15min away from Quepos town with all the needs. Kitchen is fully equipped so you can easily stay there for a day or 2 without need to leave and just to enjoy the sounds of nature…

Our stay at Villa Bambú is one that we will remember forever. From the large, open glass walls to the natural bamboo facade, we felt like we were part of the jungle surrounding the home. Waking up to the sound of birds, spotting monkeys over our heads while lounging by the pool, and stargazing at night were just some of the highlights of the trip. The house is beautiful, spacious, clean, and modern, and has all the amenities you could need during your stay. We highly recommend Villa Bambú and hope to be back someday!
