I cannot imagine that a more beautiful and well-appointed Airbnb exists in Quepos. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Love that the three bedrooms each have their own bathrooms and are like suites unto themselves.

Bonus shoutout for Joe, who was on-site during check-in and throughout our stay at the main office for the entire gated community. He went above and beyond with a great trail rec, help with dining, and is a fabulous artist in his own right.

Other reviews mention the drive is a bit tricky up the hill but we found it very manageable, we rented scooters and were able to do the hill on the scooters easily. The house was lovely, when you open the door your eye is drawn to the huge glass doors to the back pool area and the extraordinary view. The pictures cannot capture the incredible view or the amazing sounds coming from the jungle. we loved waking up early to come out and have coffee and listen to the birds daily. Each bedroom has it's own master bath which was great! The kitchen was well appointed and we enjoyed the grill as well. Julio was great to work with and the estate was safe and there was always a guard at the gate. Don't miss out on a short hike to the waterfall, it was spectacular and the spa was wonderful too!

Our stay at Casa Colibrí in Manuel Antonio Estates was absolutely incredible from start to finish. Julio, Joe, and every staff member we encountered went above and beyond—welcoming us with kindness, offering helpful information, and making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Their professionalism and warmth truly elevated our experience.
The house itself was stunning—beautifully designed, spotless, and set up perfectly for comfort and relaxation. Every detail made us feel at home, yet still immersed in the natural beauty and charm of Manuel Antonio.
We honestly wish we never had to leave. This was one of the best stays we’ve ever had, and we’re already hoping to return. Thank you, Julio, Joe, and the entire team, for making our family trip unforgettable.

casa colibri was amazing with great views and even a water fall a short hike down the road. the host was always responsive amd helpful with any questions or needs.

Casa Colibri is such a great property! So much space, amazing pool, cozy kitchen. Private, lush green surroundings a a perfect getaway spot. Wish we had stayed longer.

Open air spaces with massive sliding doors link the kitchen to outdoor seating and pool.

The gated property office has keys for pickup on designated arrival day, check in is simple.

Close to Manuel Antonio park. Many nearby restaurants. Recommendations can be asked of the manager.

Not negative, but a thing to be aware of is the several steep hills to get to the property. My small rental SUV was mostly ok, tricky in rain. One taxi had a tough time, but we made it fine.

The view’s of this villa are amazing, and the hosts really make you feel at home, they are available when you need them but respect your privacy at the same time. All you can wish for and more! Highly recommend this place.

We have travels to many Airbnb’s and this was by far one of our favorites. The house is spacious with each bedroom being large and having a private bathroom. The location is very private and quiet. The view alone is worth the stay. Our host communicated with us before check-in with clear instruction and provided recommendations for places to eat, activities, hikes. The property has access to their own private waterfall which is worth it! I would recommend a 4x4 vehicle as the drive to the house is steep but paved. The property is gated with a security guard 24/7 which is a nice added feature.

Julio’s house is amazing!! we were here for eight nights, and enjoyed the pool every day/evening. The patio was so peaceful, tranquil, and beautiful. We had two white face monkeys on the railing, on the first day, and saw two toucans in the trees while we were here too. Everyone from the gentleman manning the gate, to the people inside the Manuel Antonio office, were so helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back!!

We just stayed at the colibri home and wow. Amazing start to finish. The house has everything you need and never really have to go anywhere but it’s also close to so much if you do want to venture out. They thought of everything including yoga mats and every room is just massive! But The views are the best part. Just outstanding and every piece of furniture especially the incredible outdoor furniture was so comfortable. The pool was the perfect size and there is even an almost private waterfall just 15 minute walk from the home. The hosts were welcoming and responsive and even left a large fruit basket for us. The road leading up to the house is a little challenging but even in rainy season you don’t need 4x4. But I would suggest getting there first day at least during the day:). If I could move to this home I would never leave!!! Add colibri to your next Costa Rica trip!

Book this place! It was so serene, private, and stunning! We stayed there with our family of 4 and everyone was so comfortable. It was the perfect place to spend the afternoons in the pool after busy days of adventuring!

Julio and Sebastian were very helpful during our stay. They answered questions quickly and offered suggestions about things to do in the area. The home was beautiful- just like the pictures. We even had wildlife visits during our stay. The hill from the entrance to the house is quite steep; we were happy we had a four wheel drive.

Casa Colibri is beautiful and private. Home is amazing and team is very responsive. The road up to the house is steep but we were able to call taxis and describe where we were with little trouble.

Moneys, the view, the Iguanas - all so cool. The short hike to the waterfall was amazing!! Keep the sliding glass doors closed unless you really like bugs. Great pool. Kitchen has everything you need to cook - just bring your spices. Theres plenty of coffee in the home and multiple grocery stores just down the hill in town. If dining out, Eat at Emilio's Cafe - so good. We did dinner and breakfast there - also has a great view of the ocean. The washer and dryer was nice since we stayed here in the middle/end of our 8 days. Beds were all comfortable and everyone had their own bathroom.

We only got one night here but it was fantastic! The place was clean and the view was amazing! The front desk was very nice and let us keep our bags in the office while we went to the National Park the day we checked out. They also gave us very helpful advice for our day. We would love to come back and spend more time.

For foreign tourists, driving there is tricky. Even map apps in real time are tough, given the windy streets of the country. Google maps pins the correct address, but you need to check in with the office first (1km downhill from house). (Note to host: maybe have navigation to office instead of house.)

That said, awesome place. Very friendly multi-lingual staff. Helpful suggestions. Spa downstairs from office. Super private. Explore Quepos and adventures or be a hermit. Wifi is great. Activities like board games and such in living room.

Make sure to look in advance for tix to Manuel Antonio. They were sold out a month in advance (during new year / busy season).

We arrived after hours and Julio and María had everything set up for us with the security guard. The house is exactly as advertised and my daughter loved the house and especially the pool. Very clean with everything you would need to feel at home.

This was definitely a secret mountain Airbnb. The view was stunning! The home was pristine! Everything you needed to feel right at home was there. The beds were so comfy. There was a hidden trail with a waterfall that was absolutely amazing! I will say the road to get to the property was definitely not for the faint of heart. You need a 4x4. Julio and Maria were very responsive. This was a great spot near the beach, marina, lots of restaurants & close to Manuel Antonio National Park.

This is by far one of the nicest homes we’ve stayed at. The home is completely surrounded by beautiful nature. We saw many beautiful birds, lizards and butterflies.
The home itself was actually bigger than the pictures make it look, everything was very clean, and the hosts had all types of supplies one could possibly need. I was very impressed and absolutely loved our experience here. We will be back.

The house is close to everything you may want to do in the area. Julio and Dorit were super responsive and very friendly. We will be back soon!

Beautiful house and surrounding, we enjoyed the wild life coming at our door but still felt like a luxurious vacation. Kitchen is well equipped and the pool was wonderful. Also was very nice to get some surroundings recommendations and even some wild life cards that were lovely.

Perfect base for exploring Manuel Antonio. We did zip-lining, visited national park, and went on canopy tours. Kids loved the pool after adventure days. Casa was comfortable with good security. WiFi worked well for uploading our adventure photos. Some minor maintenance issues but overall great.

Great location for our field study program. Close to coast for marine research and national park for terrestrial studies. Casa had good workspace for equipment and data analysis. Kitchen perfect for group meal prep. Staff helpful coordinating with research stations. Educational and comfortable.

Excellent home, great views, plenty of wildlife and the pool is wonderful. The staff is excellent - very accommodating to helping schedule activities, spa and the local chef (Vicky) was a highlight, she’s really great. Loved this house.
