First- the driveway: it is a pain so make sure you have a 4x4 as listed in the description or make sure your trunk isn’t weighed down too much
Julio was amazing and communicated very well!
Jodie was also amazing and we are very thankful for him.
The pool is smaller but perfect for relaxing! Sun hits it perfectly from 10:30-2:30. The two upstairs bedrooms have private bathrooms and there is a bathroom right outside of the downstairs bedroom. Lots of privacy
The kitchen is equipped with lots of utensils and we highly recommend chef Vicki to come cook for you!

We loved the close proximity to downtown Quepos & Marina Pez Vela. Great place to stay for exploring Manuel Antonio, Quepos, Domincal, etc. Howler & Capuchin monkeys along with Scarlett McCaws were regular visitors in the area and the lush green surroundings were just what we needed for a winter vacation from the cold. The home was very well stocked with appliances, towels, toiletries & the pool was perfect for the warm afternoons. The steep driveway was fine as long as you have a 4x4 or for local taxi drivers.

House was in a great location. Easily walkable to Quepos if you don't mind a steep hill on the way home and a quick drive into Manuel Antonio. The staff was extremely responsive and the house was impeccably cleaned. I hope I can come back and enjoy it again soon.

Great house. well equipped. it was raining so the van did not make it all the up in front of the house. if you have a big car just be aware that it's a very steep hill. otherwise they've been very accommodating and lovely stay.

Wow, this is an incredible house and my family absolutely loved our stay. From the moment we entered it felt like home. It is beautifully decorated, has comfortable furniture, lots of space and my two kids enjoyed their own bedrooms and bathrooms. We loved the AC (in the living room and all bedrooms, huge kitchen, pool deck and loungers and comfy living room with TV. The hosts were friendly and left us a fruit basket. Thank you for the amazing stay!

We stayed for a week at beautiful Casa Heron March 17 - 22. It is exactly as described. As I'm in a wheelchair, it is so very nice to find a home that has a bedroom and bathroom with shower on the first floor. This was our fourth or fifth time staying at MA Estates, and we are always so pleased with our stays. The front desk has always helped us immediately (and graciously!), the grounds are immaculately groomed for both beauty and privacy. The house is in a good location, and we were lucky to see many monkeys, especially at dusk. Capuchins! We also saw 2 agoutis, a coatimundi, and many macaws, plus a huge variety of butterflies including the blue morhpho. It was delightful seeing all this wildlife while watching from the house itself! We also were provided upon request with a driver both ways, which made transportation a breeze for us. Our drivers were helpful and informative. No worries here! Whatever you need with amenities, custom care, good recommendations and an excellent location, Manuel Antonio Estates is our favorite place to stay in this area - see ya next year and thank you!
For the unsure or unwary, there are many very small ants that bite, and the mosquitoes were a tough opponent - insect repellent definitely worth it...especially for long periods of monkey-watching! It is only to be expected in this beautiful jungle jewel...

Casa Heron was the perfect get away for my family and one year old son. The place was quietly nestled in the rainforest, lots of birds and monkies. We loved the spa, everyone was friendly and informative. The neighborhood was very nice. Close to all that Quepos and Manuel Antonio has to offer, the perfect location and very safe !

This was a last a minute booking to break up our drive to La Fortuna. It was clean and spacious and we were especially glad to have a washer and dryer. It rained the whole time we were there so we didn’t really explore the neighborhood but it was beautiful and quiet.

Julio’s place was wonderful! The hill to the house is very steep and has a sharp turn but we were able to navigate it fine in a car WITHOUT 4 x4. Julio was very quick to go respond to any issues we had and with any recommendations. We would for sure recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a location close to everything!

El barrio es privado y seguro. Julio y sus grupo de trabajo son muy amables y te explican todo. En cuando al pueblo no me pareció lindo. El malecón está muy dejado y salimos con mi familia a caminar en una pequeña plaza que tienen y a las 5;30 pm nos tuvimos que ir porque los locales nos dijieron que era peligroso.
Gracias por sus comentarios y por destacar la amabilidad de Julio y su equipo. Lamentamos que la experiencia en el pueblo no haya sido tan positiva como esperaban. Apreciamos sus observaciones; sin embargo, el pueblo de Quepos en general es muy seguro, incluido el malecón, que es visitado por locales y viajeros todos los días. Sin duda, es importante tener precaución y aplicar sentido común, como no dejar objetos de valor sin supervisión, algo que se recomienda en todos los destinos turísticos del mundo.

Hosted our family reunion here with 16 people across 3 generations. The villa was spacious enough for everyone and the multiple pools kept the kids happy. Kitchen was well-equipped for our family meals. Only minor issue was one AC unit needed attention, but maintenance fixed it quickly. Great memories made!

Myself and both my young adult sons stayed in this three on-suit bed Vila for a week.
Beautifully done, this Vila is finished to a high standard with an excellent top quality equipped kitchen. Air condition in bedrooms was essential.
The outside patio and garden with an outdoor kitchen surrounded by nature and complete privacy was a great addition for eating outside and enjoying nature. This was all topped up by a good size, clean swimming pool.
Great communication with Andrés and Julio the hosts who were very helpful and easy to reach on WhatsApp.

As physicians, we rarely get to truly disconnect, but this villa provided the perfect sanctuary. The infinity pool overlooking the rainforest was pure magic. We appreciated the high-speed internet for the few urgent calls we had to take. The concierge arranged amazing experiences including a night tour where we saw sloths!

This home is very spacious. They provide everything you need to enjoy your stay there. Thru the years we have Rented various vacation homes and this one was by far the cleanest! Everything in the home worked as it should. The area is very quiet and peaceful. The location itself is exactly as described inside and out. The yard/pool were very well maintained. The staff checked in with us periodically during our stay. Staff answered our questions in a timely/reasonable manner as well. The home is literally a 5-6 minute drive to Quepos/Manuel Antonio (very convenient). Highly recommended!

Only registered guests are allowed to enter the property.

Please report any damages or loss of items that belong to the property immediately to the management.

CANCELLATION POLICIES & FEES: We require all cancellations to be in writing for your protection. Cancellations must be made with at least 30 days notice to qualify for a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations made with less than 30 days notice will incur a 100% cancellation fee. However, Manuel Antonio Estates will make every attempt to re-rent the property. If the property is re-rented at full Rental Rate, you will receive a refund of the full amount of rent consideration (Rent, Taxes, Extra Guest & Booking Fees) less a $250.00 Cancellation Fee. Any possible refunds will be issued a maximum of 14 days after your original check out date.
