Nice relaxing home. Comfy beds, nice bathrooms and functional kitchen. Driveway was a bit steep but manageable.

Awesome place! What a natural gem!

This house was perfect for our family of 4. Wildlife viewing from the porch each morning was amazing. The neighborhood is 100 % safe with a gate attendant 24/7. The waterfall hike in the back of the neighborhood was an added plus. Close enough to walk go town and easy to get a taxi when we didn’t want to walk.

We had an absolute blast staying at this beautiful villa! The views were amazing, just like being in the middle of the jungle. We were visited by wildlife every day! Monkeys, frogs, geckos, toucans and macaws. We loved that. The host Julio was super responsive and even helped me plan and decorate the house for my sisters 30th birthday while we were staying there. He and the staff did a wonderful job with that. He had local suggestions and advice on activities and food, and the location was close to everything we wanted to do. We drove most of the time since we had rented a car, and you definitely need some torque to get up the driveway to the home. 10/10 recommend staying here. We felt right at home. We hope to be back one day!

Julio’s place was amazing the house was so spacious and clean the two rooms and bathrooms were exactly what we needed. The staff on site were nice. It was so easy to get inside even after our flight being delayed twice the security men were helpful and nice. The animals on site were the best part we couldn’t get enough of them and the POOL came in clutch.

We had the best time! Beautiful home, great setup. Saw monkeys, butterflies, birds! Prime location!

Wonderful location. As many other reviews have mentioned, you wind up seeing more wildlife from the balcony even then in Manuel Antonio. Small opportunities for improvement: (1) as other reviews mention, there isn't really A/C cooling in the living room area -- makes it hard to use the shared space if your party is heat sensitive, and (2) for some reason, they make a point of telling that you in pre-trip emails that you should ask if you need a late checkout, but they seemed very annoyed to be ask for an hour or two -- just seemed like a disconnect (but they let us store our bags, so not a problem in the end)

We loved the location and Julio was very helpful and responsive. We will definitely stay here next time we are in the area!

The neighborhood is difficult to find at night. A light by the entrance off 618 would help. Look for the Raindrops Spa signs. The spa is located inside the neighborhood.
We loved that is a gated community. Once we got to the security gate, the attendant actually walked us to our house while we followed in the car. Once you know where it’s at, you’re fine. The drive way is super steep, but doable.

The property is in the jungle, yet just 8-10 minutes from all the good restaurants on the main road to Manuel Antonio. The park is maybe 15 minutes away.

Even though we were in the jungle, we were never bothered by insects on the balcony or in the house. That amazed us. The home was immaculate and the staff is very responsive. It is a community of maybe 12-15 homes and it seems extremely well managed. The beds and pillows were super comfy. We didn’t use the pool bc it was in the shade and the water very cold. Overall, we had a great stay.

We loved all the nature around us! Loved seeing all the capuchin monkeys , squirrel monkeys, toucans, humming birds , butterflies, iguanas. It was like we had our private wildlife tour from the balcony . The house had everything we needed . The beds were very comfortable . Everything was so clean .

Loved the place! In a quiet community with the local town close by for several food options. Also very close to Manuel Antonio.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Joe provided information and assistance on several occasions, highly recommend booking this place.

The only issue we had was not knowing we had to check in at the office. No where in the instructions did I see to check in at the office first. We drove needlessly for over an hour looking for the house. The host even knew we were having trouble and did not direct us to the office. The place is great for the price.

The place was perfect and the surroundings beautiful. We left our passports at the property and realized it when we were in San Jose. They helped us get our passports back.

Nos hospedamos 2 noches en la casa de Julio, todo estaba muy limpio y bonito.. tiene un balconcito con vista al bosque, el acceso a la casa es un poquito empinada ya que las casas están ubicadas colina arriba, pero con bonitas vistas..
Nos recomendaron la catarata que es un plus, nos encantó, inmersa en la naturaleza con una frescura increíble (tomar en cuenta que el acceso a la catarata es mayor al nivel intermedio, no recomendado para adultos mayores ya que no hay sendero con superficie plana y estaba un poquito resbaloso) pero en fin, nos dimos un chapuzon riquísimo ya que veníamos sudados y cansados de la caminata

Kitchen was well stocked. Very nice home. Hot water for shower; cold AC in bedrooms. Very comfortable. Enjoyed the deck. A lot of monkeys moved through our first morning. We were disappointed they didn’t come the second morning. We didn’t see any lizards, ants or insects in the house. Much better experience than other Airbnb we stayed in.
I took the hike the host sent to the waterfall at the back of the housing development. It was a rougher than I expected but I made it. Gave a nice rain forest experience that wasn’t commercialized.
I would highly recommend this house.

Vi havde nogle skønne skønne dage i huset. Det var super hyggeligt og vi så mange dyr fra terrassen da vi var der - aber, papegøjer og dovendyr. Super gode værter som svarede med det samme. Vi vil anbefale alle at bo i dette hus.

If you want to stay in the Quepos/Manuel Antonio area then you should stay here. The place was more beautiful in person than the pictures and was spotless when we arrived. We got in after the office was closed and the host left the key with the security guard so it was super easy to check in. The place is on a mountain in the middle of the jungle so you get to have beautiful mountain and jungle views outside the patio glass doors and your windows. Each bedroom has its own access to the wrap around patio which is awesome and there was a grill if you wanted to use it. They provided fresh fruit and vases of beautiful tropical flowers when you come in. They even do a cleaning for you mid stay.Everyday we were able to hear birds, and different jungle sounds and saw Morpho butterflies, we saw a whole troop of the white face monkeys in the trees, we heard the howler monkeys which was so cool, and I saw a monkey running around on a roof nearby. Definitely worth the price.

Location and jungle views were fantastic! Saw monkeys everyday! We loved sitting in the cold and private pool (especially after fun adventure excursions recommended by Julio and his staff).
We cooked several meals on the gas grill and enjoyed them on the covered balcony during evening rain storms!
Manuel Antonio Estates is a private complex full of beautiful homes and 24/7 security!!! Thanks so much for a wonderful stay! It was hard to leave!! ????????

Es un lugar precioso. es una casa en medio de la Jungla a 500 metros de la ciudad, super tranquilo, auque hay otras casas cerca, la distancia es adecuada para sentirse como y con privacidad, un lugar amplio y muy comodo, con todas las facilidades en la cocina y una parrilla de gas perfecta para una buena carne asada. Es un complejo privado con seguridad en la entrada 24/7 por lo que uno se siente muy seguro.

Loved our stay. This was the last stop of our trip and a bit of a splurge but worth it. We arrived late the first day and the gate guard was waiting with our info and a smile. Got to the house and some monkeys were hanging out on the balcony. Everything was beautiful and clean - a bouquet of fresh flowers and freshly stocked fruit bowl wasanice touch.

The place is easily walkable to hiking, town, the beach, etc. Some people did a tour of MA National park which picked up right at the office. All in all, fantastic stay and great way to end our trip.

We visited the Manuel Antonio Park, but we saw more birds, animals just sitting on the deck during our stay. It was wonderful. Thank you.

This was one of the most beautiful Airbnbs we ever stayed at! The pictures don’t even do it justice, it is nestled beautifully into the jungle, we saw monkeys on our balcony, but at the same time is part of a gated community, so you will feel Save and have 24/7 security.
The hosts are super nice and responsive and immediately helped us with a problem with our car.

Wonderful place to stay. Its close to everything you need or want to do. We saw more monkeys at the property than in any park. It was also nice to have laundry facilities. Everyone that worked there was very friendly and I highly recommend it.

great airbnb for me and my parents! the host was super responsive to any requests i had as well as the concierge, and we felt really safe in the neighborhood. the sound of animals and the jungle was definitely a little startling the first night but we got used to it quickly. getting in and out of the driveway can be a little tricky because of the angle but was manageable too!

My husband and I had a wonderful time at Casa Cascada at Manuel Antonio Estates. Julio and our concierge Maria Fernanda were super helpful. Always answered our questions promptly. Maria provided the best recommendations for places to eat. We were never disappointed. The property was beautiful and well appointed. Lots of towels, plenty of indoor and outdoor showers, spacious baths and bedrooms, beds were comfortable, the A/C was cold, the hand soap and shower products were high end. We had fresh fruit and flowers welcoming us when we arrived. We saw and heard macaws and many other song birds and butterflies as we sat on the balcony in the mornings having our delicious Costa Rican coffee. There was maid service available for a very reasonable price, who also did our laundry half way into our trip. The Raindrop Spa is located on the grounds, walking distance from Casa Cascada. Would recommend taking a yoga class or having a massage there too. Amazing first trip to CR! Pure Vida!!

Great place

An unplanned stay due to rain and floods everywhere in Costa Rica. Julio was very accommodating and helpful. Gated community, quiet and jungly but close to town. Would recommend for the price, you get good management, security and peace. Plus monkeys.

Our book club chose this casa for our annual retreat and it was perfect. Quiet setting was ideal for reading and discussion. We read works by Costa Rican authors and the natural setting enhanced our understanding. Staff even helped us find a local bookstore! Intellectual and inspiring getaway.

We enjoyed our stay, and were grateful for such kind and flexible hosts!

Beautiful location in a private, gated area with about 8 other houses all very private. Julio was always responsive to anything we needed. The biggest tip I have is take the walk on the property to the private waterfall. Costa Rica is full of waterfalls, but this is special! Your own private waterfall and swimming lagoon. Other worldly. We enjoyed the pool when we came back from that hike. The house is an easy 10 minute drive to parking for Manuel Antonio National Park. We enjoyed wood fire pizza and monkeys at El Wagon restaurant nearby. The morning of check out we woke up to no power. A transformer had blown in the night and was getting fixed. Julio allowed us to go to the national park and come back to shower before we got on the road. They did not have to do that, but it was very much appreciated!! One of our best stays in Costa Rica! Just book it if you’re in the fence! Oh, and the shower in the place was fantastic as well!

I love this whole Neighborhood > its perfect location for Quepos and Manuel Antonio . Very nice houses and great layout. They have security and the front entrance that is very easy to get in and out of. I feel like I'm in the middle of the jungle and lots of wild life. Will be back soon.

We just returned from our 2 weeks stay at Manuel Antonio Estates and Casa Cascada. It was just what we had hoped, the perfect blend of nature and town accessibility.
The house is spacious and for us well located in the community since we did not rent a car and walked to town almost daily. There is still a steep part of the road that is unavoidable but the house is just past the top of that hill. You won’t need a gym, it’s great incline training! The balcony was perfect for eating breakfast and any meal we were home. We saw monkeys and iguanas daily, scarlet macaws heard daily and seen often right there. We walked the property every day and saw a beautiful variety of birds including toucans, motmots and many different smaller birds.
You have your own washer/dryer just know it is secured at the bottom of your flight of steps outside, not inside the unit. The washing machine is awkward to use because of its location in the small enclosure. Appliances are older but worked once we got some additional instructions. This being said we still felt very comfortable here and had an absolutely wonderful experience at Casa Cascada
The management of the casa is amazing. Any question or concern is addressed immediately and pleasantly. The housekeeping staff is equally efficient.

If we return to Costa Rica next year we plan on going back to Casa Cascada and Manuel Antonio Estates!

Three generations stayed together - perfect layout for everyone to have space while being together. Pool was hit with all ages. Wildlife kept kids engaged for hours. Great family destination, though WiFi was spotty in some bedrooms. Overall excellent for large family gatherings.

We had a great time! Everyone was so kind and helpful. Anytime I needed anything or had a question, I was helped quickly.
The house is stocked up pretty good with everything you could need, including a hairdryer. The beds were pretty hard, too hard for our taste. But if you like firm beds...then you will love it.
We saw several different kinds of monkeys that come up on the deck almost every night. We even had an iquana come down off the roof, onto the tree and on the deck to sun itself. Also just up the hill in the trees we saw beautiful mccaws and a toucan. So if you come for wildlife you will not be disappointed.
We also walked to the waterfall on the property. It is not for the weak, very steep hills to get to it. But your own private oasis once you get to it. We jumped in an cooled off and had it all to ourselves.
The town of Quespos is walking distance as well, but again a very steep hill coming back.

We had the most wonderful week here. We loved sitting on the deck watching and listening to the wildlife. The location was close to everything and the staff was wonderful. We didn't anticipate the steepness of the roads and driveways but we learned as we went. The pool was a lovely way to cool off from the heat at the end of the day. We will most definitely return as we fell in love with the country.

I stayed in two properties over a three week period, and felt both were great value. They were clean, things worked as advertised; quiet and all of the staff were helpful. Lots of wildlife outside the windows as well, which is still fun after 20+ years of visiting Costa Rica. :)
I will start my search for accommodation in the future at Manuel Antonio Estates.
